Abstract:

An informal interaction workshop with Aditya Guntuboyina (Associate Professor of Statistics at University of California, Berkeley) who is visiting Statistics department at UIUC to give a seminar. Students can ask questions about his research presented at the seminar, general questions pertaining to a variety of topics such as career advice, tips for success, collaborations, teaching, etc.

The aim is to have an interactive session to provide an opportunity for students to make personal connection to the speaker and to learn from their academic and personal experiences in an informal setting.
